Gorse Cafe at Comrie Croft

Visited this beautiful cafe on several occasions since it opened and I have always thoroughly enjoyed everything I've had. Sampled various sandwiches, bakes and cakes, all delicious and the iced oat chai is superb!

We made a quick stop at this charming new café during our journey to Glasgow, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere was beautiful—bright, peaceful, and spacious, with plenty of seating both inside and out. It’s also dog-friendly, which made it all the more enjoyable for us. The highlight for me was the iced rasberry oat matcha latte—smooth, subtly sweet and refreshing. Truly a drink to die for! We also shared a sandwich (I didn’t catch the name), but it was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—crispy bread, generous filling, and everything just worked. This café is a little gem, and if you’re passing through, I highly recommend stopping in. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re headed this way.

Had a great time at the Gorse Cafe today. The coffee was amazing and they served with oat milk as requested and we had some cookies which were fantastic! It’s in such a beautiful place and the atmosphere is just perfect for where it is. It’s only recently opened and can only see it getting better and better. Would definitely recommend!

Visited the cafe for the 3rd time today, lured back by the amazing food, friendly staff and fab views. Sadly no cheesecake brownies left by the time I arrived but thoroughly enjoyed a mini sausage roll followed by a fruit scone a pot of real butter and jam, no plastic! Tap water available from a jug in cafe area and also outside drinking water tap. Dog friendly, water bowls around the site. Inside and outside seating areas.

Recommended. Nice place to chill out with good coffee and nice vibe both inside and outside.

It doesn’t get better than this!! Incredible bakes, kind staff, and beautiful environment. I’ve been lucky enough to try many of their cakes and am consistently wowed! Writing this as I gobble down their treats because… you must know how good they are!!! Couldn’t recommend more highly!!

Stunning place upon approach , service was friendly, efficient and fast , we drove over an hour to come here and it was so worth it , i had a breakfast roll with potato scone and egg and it was a 10/10 the bread roll was so tasty , i also had the lemon and raspberry cake and a chocolate brownie both where exceptional, was so cute we didn’t want to leave

Great quality food well done. Lovely staff and the setup is chill and class. Defo worth a visit for a snack or a lunch while using the trails.
